Air Jordan 4 Classic Green

Hello class, today I will be talking about one of my 'holy grails" that I own. The Air Jordan 4 Classic Green was released on July 24, 2004 and were never released again. These shoes were priced at $110.00 when they first released, now if you find these shoes being re sold in great condition, they'll go for about $450.00. Crazy right?! These shoes are dressed in an all white leather and metallic jumpman on the heel and green shoe lace hoops. Over time these shoes will yellow around the tongue and the sides, and the mid sole can crumble and become useless. I was able to find these pair of shoes in an amzing condition. The owner only wore them 2 times, and were not yellowing and the price was amazing. The owner was asking $240 and that's a great price for these shoes. I'm hoping they re release these shoes.

Adidas Superstar: The Dark Side and The Light Side

Hello class, today I will be getting away from Air Jordans and talking about two very rare and collectible shoes. Today is also a perfect day to talk about them since it is May 4, which for Star Wars fans, it's "May The Fourth Be With You". The Adidas Superstar: The Dark Side and The Light Side are two shoes that came out in 2007 for Star Wars fans. One shoe is all black with a red sole to represent Darth Vader, and the other shoe is all white with a green sole to represent Yoda. The unique thing about these shoes is that they are packaged like the old action figures were! There are rumors that there were only 800 to 8,000 pairs made, no one really knows the actual amount. These are great shoes for collectors and Star Wars fans.

Air Jordan 5 Olympic

Hello class, today I will be talking about the Air Jordan 5 Olympic that is set to release this summer August 13th. This shoe is to tribute the Summer Olympics in Brazil. The show is made with a white upper leather and a black midsole. There are gold "teeth" on the midsole as well. The tongue features a gold color, the sole is "icy" with a gold jumpman. The shoe will sell at $190.00. This is definetly a summer shoe, may just grab a pair for myslef.

"What The" Mercurial Superfly Soccer Cleats

Hello class, today I'm doing a little twist on the sneaker talk. I'm going to be talking about a soccer boot (cleat). The Mercurial Superfly was introduced in 1998 and gained attention because of its sleek, track style spike design. This boot was made for speed and movement with and without the ball. The "What The" Mercurial Superfly Soccer Cleats consists of the 18 most popular colorways of this cleat. There are only going to be 3,000 pairs available and will be priced at $300.00. They will release May 5, 2016. This cleat comes with a bag that shows the most iconic Mercurial Superflys to come out.

Kenny G aka The Perfect Pair

Hello class, today I will be getting away from the actual and talk about a huge sneaker collector. Kenny G aka The Perfect Pair has an extensive sneaker collection worth more than $700,000. He's 38 years old and lives in California where he owns a casino. He says his favorite sneakers are the White Cement 3's and 4's but he has a lot of shoes that are very rare to get. He has the Oregon Duck 3's and 4's which were only for the Oregon players. He also has a pair of Eminem 4's, which were only for Eminem and close friends. He has a pair of Air Jordan 13's and 14's that are signed by the Jordan himself and Bulls coach Phil Jackson. He is ridiculed because there are other top sneaker collectors that say he "bought" his collection. Not too long ago he was just wearing vans, now he has some of the top shoes out there. The Perfect Pair pays no mind to the talk and continues to do what he loves.

Solefly x Air Jordan 3

Hello classs, today I will be talking about the Solefly x Air Jordan 3. Solefly is a sneaker and streetwear store in Miami, Florida. This shoe was a collab between the owner of Solefly and Jordan. This shoe is white, a kind of peach color on the heel tab and sole, and  a dark green midsole. The thing that makes this shoe special is when you pull the top of the heel tab back, you'll see Miami's area code "305" and you'll also see the state florida. This shoe was not a general release, this shoe had an unveiling on July 19th, 2014. Only a very limited amount of people have this shoe. The shoe went for sale on eBay and its going for $6,705.00. It's a size 12, so if you wear a size 12 you're in luck!

Air Jordan 12 OVO White

Hello class, today I will be talking about the Air Jordan 12 OVO White. This shoe is a collab with Drake. A black version of this shoe was released last year. This shoe is all white tumbled leather, and a sort of polka dot design along the mid of the shoe to the toe box. This shoe has some gold around the shoe lace loops, which give it a nice look. On the sole of the shoe we see Drakes brand OVO, with a nice designed carbon fiber plate. This shoe has no official price, and is set to release July 30, 2016, but it can be changed.

Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack

Hello class, today I will be talking about a very cool Air Jordan Pack releasing in June 2016. The Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack includes two Air Jordan 8 shoes to commemorate Jordans six rings he won with the Bulls. This shoe model was worn when he won a championship. These two shoes come in a unique colorway. One shoe is all black but in the midsole there is a confetti design to show the celebration that happens when you win a championship. The second shoe is an all white shoe with the midsole being gold, and it features jordans finger prints. These shoes will run $250 each! Crazy price, but the shoe has a great meaning behind it.

Supreme x Nike Air Max 98

Hello class, today I'm going to get away from Air Jordan and focus on a collaboration that Nike is going to do. Nike is teaming up with the street wear brand, Supreme. Supreme is a huge brand, their products are a little expensive but there is always a line for something new that's releasing with their brand on it. The Nike Air Max 98 is getting a "Supreme Makeover", there will be 4 shoes releasing a red, black, navy and a snakeskin rendition, the shoe is made up of metallic mesh uppers with  reflective details and it will also have the air bubble midsole. The price is $175.00 and will be releasing April 28, 2016. 

Jordan 11 Space Jam

Hello class, today I will be talking about one of the most loved pair of Jordan, the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam. This show first released in 1996 and was dubbed "Space Jam' for Jordans hit movie, Space jam with Bugs Bunny. The shoe released again in 2000, then in 2009. The shoe is set to release this December for its 20th anniversary. The price isn't set but this will definetly be a great pick up for anyone. The shoe is made up of a black patant leather for the upper, white foam material for the mid-sole, and white "icy bottoms" for the soles. Also can't forget about the blue jumpman on the side of the heel.

Air Jordan 7 Tinker Alternate

Hello class, today I'll be speaking about the Air Jordan 7 Tinker Alternate. There is a similar shoe to this one called the Air Jordan 7 "Olympic", but the great designer Tinker Hatfield put his own twist on this shoe.  This shoe is actually inspired by the Summer Olympics this summer. This shoe features a red, white and blue colorway, the material is made out of leather. The shoe is going to be $190.00 and is releasing August 16, 2016. I like the shoe, but I probably won't get them.

Air Jordan True Blue 3

Hello class, today I will be talking about one of my favorite pairs of Jordans I own. The Air Jordan "True Blue" 3 is easily one of my favorite pairs. The shoe is made of a leather material and is mainly white, with a blue jumpman on the heel tab, a blue midsole and a blue sock liner. On the tongue it does have a red jump man, and also on the holes that the laces run through. This sneaker also have the famous "elephant print" around it. This is one shoe I plan on keeping crisp for a very long time.

Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles

Hello class, today I will be talking abbout the Air Jordan 10 "Los Angeles". This shoe is 1 of 3 that are coming out in a pack, called the city pack. This pack will include the Jordan 10 "NYC", Jordan 10 "Chicago" and the Jordan 10 "Los Angeles". This shoe is made of a almost suede material in a blue colorway, while the midsole is white. This shoe is set to release May 14, 2016 and will be priced at $190.00. Not a bad price for a very nice shoe. 

Air Jordan Bred 4 2016

In 1999 the original Air Jordan 4 Breds came out with the Nike Logo on the heel tab. In 2012 they were released again but with the Jumpman logo on the heel tab and were priced at $160. There is a rumour that they will be releasing again this year but this time with the Nike tab again. They are rumoured to be priced at $220!.Theres that crazy price increase I talked about. I currently own the 2012 pair, and I don't think I'll be going for this pair.  It is all about the hype of the Nike tab that are going to make people buy the shoe.

Air Jordan 4 Premium Obsidian

Hello class, today I will be talking about a new Jordan 4 releasing later this fall. This Jordan is called the Air Jordan 4 Premium Obsidian, these are priced at $400.00! This Jordan is made out of premium leather, the Jordan brand is trying to come out with luxurious shoes for high end buyers. A similar shoe came out earlier this year in an all black colorway made out of leather. This could potentially sky rocket the jordan brand up or bring it down. We'll have to wait and see.

Air Jordan Kobe Pack

Hello everyone, today I'll be talking about a new Air Jordan pack that a lot of people, including myself, are excited about. The Air Jordan Kobe Pack consists of two Jordan shoes, the Jordan 3 and the Jordan 8, in the lakers color way. These two shoes are still a rumor, so there is no set release date, and no set price, but it is rumored to be around $500 for the pack. Of course this pack will not be easy to get, and I'm already assuming that the re sale price is going to go through the roof. I'll be on a look out for the pack, hopefully I'm lucky!

 

Air Jordan 1 "Chicago"

Let's look back at the shoe that started everything. The Air Jordan 1 "Chicago". This shoe was originally released in 1985 for $64.99, now these shoes are re sold around $1,000. These shoes represented the Bulls red, black and white colorway. Jordan was fined $5,000 per game everytime he wore them, but that didn't stop him. Every since then, Jordan and Nike have expanded their line up. Now there are Jordans numbered from 1-30.

Air Jordan 12 "Wings"

The Air Jordan 12 "Wings"were released on April 2, 2016 through an app called SNKRS. These shoes were very very limited, only 12,000 pairs were going to be made. They started at $225, but were being re sold from $300-$500. Each shoe had its number inside of the tongue. For example it would say 105/12,000. The most sought out pairs were number 1, 23 and 12,000. The 12,000th shoe was finally revealed as a size 10.5 and is up on ebay for $4,500.00! Crazy! But eventually someone will add it to their collection.

The "Mamba" Pack

As we all know Kobe Bryant finished his last game in the NBA last night, and what an incredible game it was. He's a legened on and off the court. His has a sponsership with Nike, and has been part of the Nike family for 13 years. Nike decided to come out with a Kobe "Mamba" Pack, which includes 13 sneakers, slowly fading into a black colorway. A great send off from Nike.

Violence In The Sneaker World

Hello class, buying, collecting, and trading sneakers can be fun, but there are accidents that happen very often.

On February 13, 2016 a 17 year old boy was going to meet up with a 39 year old man to buy some Jordans. The 17 year old met up with this man and pointed a gun at him, and robbed the Jordans. In retaliation, the 39 year old ran his car into the 19 year old, cutting his arm off. All this over a pair of shoes.

In December of 2011 the Jordan Concord 11's released for the first time in 11 years. There were huge lines formed for this release. Unfortunately as the doors opened to buy these shoes, there were riots, fights , and people being trampled over.

As you can see, it can get violent out there when people want their shoes.

Jordan Fear 4's

Good afternoon class,

today I'll be discussing a recent purchase I made. Over the weeked I was able to purchase a pair of Jordan Fear 4's. I was able to buy these shoes at a very good price, but I'll reveal the price after ;).

These shoes were pre-owned but were in great condtion. To be able to find these shoes in great condition is very rare.

The shoe is mainly made up of a suede material. The midsole is black with specs of white on it, while the shoe itself are shades of grey and a black colorway.























When this shoe released in 2013 the shoe was originally supposed to be called the Jordan 4 Oreo, but this shoe came out as a pack. The Jordan 3 Fear, The Jordan 4 Fear and The Jordan 5 Fear all came in this pack, and was dubbed The Fear Pack.


The Jordan 4 Fear was originally priced at $175. The shoe price has gone up!

It's crazy how the price goes up after time. This shoe is not easy to find, and it's even harder to find it in good condtion.

You might be wondering how much I ended up paying for these. I got these shoes for a huge steal! I only paid $200 for them, and as you can see they could've been sold for a lot more!
